Earth Exploration | Personal Still Life
Prompt:
It is the year 4021, all humans live on the planet Alderaan. You have been asked by a research institution to travel to the planet Earth. Earth was abruptly abandoned sometime around 2015, you are the artist chosen to go back and document what life was like back in then. The research institute wants to see what objects used in their daily lives. They are asking the explorers to consider how objects someone used in their daily lives reflect that person’s life.

"Sweet Tooth" Candy Company Marketing | Sugar Skulls
Prompt:
A candy company based in Mexico call “Sweet Tooth” is participating in Feria del Alfeñique. To make their vendor booth really stand out they have hired you to create a new mascot or character for their stylized sugar skull products they are known for. You will be creating props for their display, as well as a poster to help promote their candy. They have asked that the prop that you make be 3D where it can stand on a table or on top of a platform for all to see.
Students will create a poster that is 12 x18 using colored pencils of a sugar skull showing understanding of balanced design, line weight as a way to create emphasis, and pattern.
